They didn’t have shortcuts.

They had grit.

They worked harder.

Stayed longer.

Pushed through more than we’ll probably ever fully understand.

And when the world changed?

They changed with it.

Decade after decade.

Shift after shift.

No applause. No spotlight.

Just resilience.

And now?

We talk about them like they’re a burden on the system.

We’ve got that backwards.

They are the reason there is a system.

We owe them.
